What does it mean? / Doing life together so the Christ can be seen / Discipleship, so the Body can grow / And no you can’t teach what you really don’t know / So who is your Timothy? Who is your Paul? / When you’ve got questions, homie who you goin’ call? / Who is the one that’s ringin’ the alarm / When you’re walkin’ in the flesh, doin’ your spirit man harm? / I’m a product of that old school discipleship / Aiming for your soul like bullets from a rifle clip / And for a moment let me testify / LEAD OUT! we don’t die, we multiply / So when you see me, just know this cousin / Christ set the standard, so I’m lookin’ for a dozen / But first you gotta listen, there’s much to learn / And then you’ll lead out when it’s your turn

V2 (Excelsius) – Christ said, “Follow Me” in Luke Chapter 9 / ‘Cause following is personal like daily quiet time / And if you never spend time with Him alone / Your strength in the Lord will soon be gone / So every day, every day, every day now / Get away, get away, get away now / It doesn’t matter if you say you really love Him / You can’t LEAD OUT! If your heart’s far from Him! / Disciples must experience the presence of Christ / ‘Cause growth ain’t a crapshoot like rollin’ the dice / Go ‘head, get it in, those times are precious / And in those quiet times, Christ will refresh us / So if you’re doin’ this and wanna be effective / Take the whole truth and don’t be selective / Make more disciples, that’s the #1 objective / This is discipleship from a biblical perspective
