V1 – “J” is for the joy that we get from Jesus / Just because He loves us and His blood it free us / Justified by justice, He don’t need us / But we’re joined to Him like some bass to speakers / “A” represents that atonement man / Access to the Father since that moment mayne / Acknowledge He’s God, accept it man / And don’t worry ‘bout them cats if they reject it man / “T” is for the truth, without Christ your lost / Terrific describes your life, if your life is lost / For the sake of the cross, make the Maker your boss / You’ll be eternally in trouble if you’re shakin’ this off (and) / “H” is for the happiness that true believers get / Not by old religion but by new relationship / Having the heart of God is how we in walk in holiness / J-A-T-H baby, Joined at the Hip!!

V2 – (So what does it mean to be Joined at the Hip?) / It means we’re walking two by two when the enemy tries to trip / It means we’re standing side by side, so if one of us starts to slip / We can help the other up, (togetherness), that’s it!! / Joined at the Hip means we’re waist to waist / ‘Cause we’ve still got a race to race / And one day when we get the privilege to see Jesus face to face / We’ll understand why He gave us daily grace to grace / But not being connected is a plan for defeat / That’s like going the wrong way down a one-way street / And the one way to eat and never get full / Is to live in isolation & deny God’s pull / We know about sowing & reaping, so as I flow with this preaching / I’m trying to hit you with some meat in my teaching / And as we go in & reach ‘em, I’m askin’ “Man, whatchu waiting for?
God wants holla at you, and ain’t nobody hatin’ though!”

V3 – Oh what a tangled web we weave / When we live life, but don’t believe / That’s it really necessary to be Joined at the Hip / Not talking about going to church, I’m talking about relationship / That’s accountability and that’s how we grow / And that’s how we bear the kind of fruit that’ll show / That we are many members connected to One Body / Christ Jesus is the head, you’d betta ask Somebody! / If you’re connected to the Kingdom, please be reminded / Where you see broken fellowship, satan’s behind it / But in order to bind it, you gotta lose your life so you can find it / Unattached to the source of Life means you’ve been blinded / And if I’m describing you, then there’s still time to rewind it / Romans 12:1-2, that’s how you become Kingdom minded / If you let this truth pass by / When you stand before the King, He ain’t goin’ ask you why…
