Intro: One thing I do: forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.
V1 – Yeah, you know what time it is / Time to get focused on Christ and His / Righteousness, that’s what you should do / So the Spirit of the Lord can move through you / And I know that everyone ain’t trying to do that / But I really wonder who is living like they knew that / You can live sold out, no doubt / To the point where everybody’s talkin’ like “Yo man, who’s that?” / Christ Jesus will never fail ya / Get focused that’s what we tell ya / ”G” to the E-T, “F” to the O-C / “U” to the S-E-D, Get Focused! / It’s time to affect the nation / This right here is our declaration!

V2 – Look straight ahead / Hey, no lookin’ back that’s what I said / Fix your eyes on Him & I guarantee / That getting focused won’t be hard as it seems to be / Sin separated us from the Holy One / But God purchased us through the work that was done / And now we are free, no longer living on the run / ‘Cause we’re focused on the Father, and we’re living for the Son / Christ Jesus wants to renew your eyes / Get focused ‘cause it’s time to pursue the prize / ”G” to the E-T, “F” to the O-C / “U” to the S-E-D, Get Focused! / It’s time to affect the nation / This right here is our declaration!
