Intro: Man, I’ve got a head full of questions about God and who He is & all that kind of stuff, but I have no answers.

Q1 – I’ve got my doubts, but is God even real?

God’s existence? Let me help you with some Truth assistance / Your resistance to this fact is a result of your instance / To reject the Holy Writ and accept the only bit / Of intelligence that has you thinking that maybe God is just a myth / Even Atheists believe in God ‘cause see if they didn’t / They wouldn’t spend their time trying to convince you that He isn’t / Exactly who He is (Who is He?) Elohim / The Alpha, The Omega & everything in between.

Q2 – Okay, so if God is so real, and loves us so much, why would He send people to hell?

From the jump, let’s get it correct / Hell was created for satan and the ones that will choose to reject / The free gift offering of Jesus as Savior / See that’s the plan of God to ultimately save ya / Logically, it makes no sense, God’s thrown us a curve / We can reserve a place in heaven, but hell’s what we deserve / And sin has to be punished, it’s a simple as that / Hell won’t be your destination, if you accept it as fact

Q3 – Aren’t all religions the same?

That can’t be true ‘cause if the one you pick / Is different from what I believe, why would they contradict? / The Absolute Truth you desire only has one source / It’s the Holy Word of God, not some spiritual force / The Christian faith is the only one that can provide / Historical evidence that other religions might hide / The Bible is authentic, accurate & divine / And you can know this for yourself, if you just take some time

Q4 – Is organized religion a subtle form of brainwashing?

What I’m referring to, you wouldn’t classify as religion / ‘Cause religion is what has people positioned in tradition / No, I’m talkin’ about a relationship, not brainwashing / So you can be a recipient of that sin stain washing / When there’s no organization, there you have chaos / Like when the underdog wins a game in playoffs / Half-truths are whole lies, that’s how cults get started / But the God I serve seeks to mend the broken-hearted

Q5 – I’m not really that bad of a person. That counts for something, right?

Heaven ain’t for good people, heaven’s for the prepared / And if you don’t end up in heaven, trust me, you’re going to be scared / Ever read the book of Revelation? It paints this picture / Of life without the God that’s revealed in the Scripture / You need to believe in God because you believe in the Bible / And you need to believe in the Bible because it is a reliable / Collection of historical documents / Written down during the lifetime of occupants / That report to us supernatural, not just superhuman / Events that took place by eye-witness accounts, I’m not assuming / These events took place in the fulfillment / Of prophecy, and even nowadays we’re feelin’ it / We’ve got fulfilled prophecies, internal harmony / Answered promises & prayers, even archaeology / And to further validate and clarify this picture / Why that New Testament Messiah quote Old Testament Scripture??

Outro: The power of satan is in the lie. The power of the believer is in knowing the truth. And the beauty of truth is that it needs no co-signers. It can stand on its own. Christians, if we’re gonna win the world for Christ, we’ve got to know what we believe. If not, we run the risk of being convinced that perhaps all this talk about Jesus is just that . . . talk. This song is based on a true story . . .
