Bridge – Ain’t nothing changed / we’re still sayin’ you gotta change or die!
V1 – When I talk about change, I’m talkin’ living new / ‘Cause some of us living with this broken point-of-view / Thinking life’s a maze you gotta get through somehow / But you ain’t trying to do that Jesus thing, nah not now / Got a lot questions and very few answers / But Christ wants to give you life like people healed from cancer / And totally do away with that self-loving perspective / And get you to see the need to make Him the main objective / Real life ain’t always pretty, there’s sickness and struggle / And what about the responsibilities we juggle? / If you’ve ever felt like “Lord!? Why?” / You can’t trust your feelings and emotions, they lie! / If you listen, you will hear just what your missin’ / And my mission to move you to lifestyle of undivided submission / Will move in the direction of Him He brings the correction / And loves you enough to become the cure for your sin infection
Bridge – I can’t make it no plainer fam, you gotta change or die!
Hook: We want you caught up in the Lord, like the blade of sword / That’s the Word, you ain’t heard? How much sin can you afford? / Pour death on your flesh, yes it’s goin’ hurt / But you’ll be glad once they put your body down in the dirt / When the truth gets impressed upon your heart like “Yo!” / You’ll see that dying daily, that’s a call to grow / Choosin’ not to change, a catastrophic decision / This is that truth that’ll have you liberated by submission
Bridge – Have you picked it up yet? You gotta change or die!
V2 – Now, when I talk about change, this is what some say / “I’m a get around to doing that church thing some day” / I ain’t talkin’ goin’ to church / I’m talkin’ about being by lead by the Spirit so you don’t have to search / For the temporary pleasure from the lust of the flesh / We don’t see it as we foolishly rush toward our death / We see sin as extravagant, harmless, exciting / Alluring, enticing, terrific, inviting / But He don’t see it that way, He sees it as trap / Where rebellion & destruction are like markers on the map / Of your life, ‘cause you ain’t really tryin’ to see the Lord / Sin got you mixed up like the letters on a keyboard / But He poured out His love, and we soared like a dove / Now the umbilical cord to sin’s been removed like a glove / When facing the master, wanna be seen as the redheaded stepchild? / (No!) Then get yourself a lifestyle and get rid of that deathstyle
Bridge – Simply put, you gotta change or die!

Bridge – There aren’t too many more ways I can say it, you gotta change or die!
V3 – When I talk about change, I mean change that’s real / To have you saying “It’s my pleasure, Lord, to do your will” / With a brand new heart recreated from within / A new mindstate got you running from far away from sin / ‘Cause now you’re walking in your old nature subdued / Milk does a body good, but you need solid food / And nutrition from the text gives purpose and vision / Separating all your goals from earthly ambition / True happiness, real peace, with no pretense / Is why you’re sold out with an unrivaled allegiance / To the cause of Christ, Yes Lord! / The proof of the Gospel is a life that’s been restored / And transformed into a vessel that’s fit to worship / The glorious God who fixes His church up / As you take the first step to obey and be holy / You can embrace the hope in Christ or either choose to die slowly
Bridge – It’s your choice, you gotta change or die!

Bridge – There you have it, you’re goin’ change or die!
Outro: True faith is that helpless place that sets the stage for His Greatness to shine. Are you ready to live?
